Evan Reed builds large-scale, semi-representational sculptures. They can take their inspiration from the materials they are constructed with or through imagery that he finds personally relevant or autobiographical. The work is a synthesis of contrasting ideas from machined objects combined with natural; representational with abstract; work-a-day turned absurd to vernacular subjects memorialized.
